Softair-weapons
Softair weapons are available in various designs, including pistols, rifles, machine guns and sniper rifles. The weapons are available in different calibres, the most common calibre being 6mm.
At Gunpoint.de, we have a very wide range of softair weapons and matching accessories for all common softair variants. From inexpensive softair pistols for beginners to highly professional softair rifles, sniper rifles, heavy revolvers or grenade launchers, there is something for every player and collector. In addition to the actual softair weapons, our shop also offers airsoft equipment, magazines, complete sets at favourable prices and other softair accessories.
Softair ammunition
Softair ammunition consists of small plastic pellets. The pellets are available in different colours and weights, which make it easier to find hits and must match the air soft system used.
With very few exceptions, the calibre is 6 mm.
Compressed air weapons
A compressed air weapon is a weapon that ejects a bullet or projectile using compressed air. The compressed air is generated either by a compressor or by pulling back the piston. Compressed air weapons come in a variety of designs, including air pistols and air rifles.
Advantages of compressed air weapons
Compressed air weapons offer a number of advantages over other types of weapons. These include:
Relatively inexpensive: compressed air weapons tend to be much less expensive than other types of weapons.
Lower maintenance costs: Compressed air weapons require less maintenance than other types of weapons.
Low recoil: Air guns have low recoil, making them comfortable for beginners and experienced shooters alike.
Availability: Compressed air guns are legally available in many countries.
Alarm guns
Alarm guns are an effective way of protecting yourself and others from attacks. They are legally available in Germany and relatively inexpensive.
Advantages of alarm guns:
They are not lethal, but they can deter potential attackers.
They are easy to carry and use.
They are relatively inexpensive.
Alarm guns are available in gun stores in Germany. To be able to buy a blank gun, you must be at least 18 years old and present a valid identity card.
How do you use alarm guns?
Alarm guns must be loaded with blank cartridges. These cartridges do not contain lead, but a mixture of black powder and a binding agent. When a blank cartridge is fired, a bang and a cloud of smoke are produced.
Pyrotechnic ammunition
Pyrotechnic ammunition, also known as fireworks, is an object that is classified as a pyrotechnic article. It is used to create a bang, a cloud of smoke or a light effect. Pyrotechnic ammunition is used in a variety of applications, including fireworks, signaling and military operations.
Types of pyrotechnic ammunition
Rockets: - are fireworks that rise into the sky and explode to create a spectacular lighting effect.
Firecrackers: - are fireworks that produce a loud bang to attract attention or create a certain mood.
Fountains: - are fireworks that produce a cascade of sparks or other lights to create a beautiful and lasting effect.
Volcanoes: - are fireworks that create a dramatic effect.
Sport shooters and role-players benefit just as much as people who have to deal with firearms in their profession, such as soldiers, police officers and security forces of all kinds, as well as hunters. Many sporting guns on GunPoint resemble hunting rifles or service weapons around the world and are suitable for regular shooting training.
In addition to professional purposes and recreational sports, aesthetic aspects are also important for many interested parties.
Gun collectors and historians enjoy the weapons that either played a role in certain political and world-historical events or were directly important in terms of technical progress in the weapons sector.
One model for history buffs, for example, is our lever-action Mauser K98 air rifle. This replica is based on the Mauser Model 98 carbine bolt-action rifle, which stands out in two ways. On the one hand, the rifle, which was produced until 1945, was a standard rifle of the First World War, which also accompanied countless soldiers during the Second World War. On the other hand, the Mauser System 98 of this weapon set standards in terms of weapon locking systems and has been used over 100 million times to date.
In the GunPoint Shop you can not only deal with pistols and rifles, but also find interesting sporting weapons as an archer. These include our crossbows and pistol crossbows. In addition to bolt ammunition, we also offer transport bags and aiming aids for these products.
Knives & tools:
Folding knives (fishing and carving)
Fixed knives (crafts, survival in nature)
Multi-tools (pliers, wire cutters and more)
We also stock items for personal safety such as defense sprays and items for outdoor activities and training sessions. These include, for example, protective devices for you and your weapons, useful all-purpose knives as well as lubricants and weapon care products. With oil and silicone spray, you can not only maintain the longevity of a weapon, but also its positive shooting characteristics.
Regardless of the type of weapon and how it works, handling weapons requires a certain level of maturity and is subject to numerous conditions in Germany. The German Weapons Act (WaffG) is the binding guideline for the handling of weapons and semblance weapons.
The weapons in our store are generally divided into two different categories with regard to sale and permitted possession. For example, our pistols and rifles from the softair weapons range may be handed over to persons aged 14 and over if the energy does not exceed 0.5 joules.
For all weapons with a higher energy when firing or operating, you must be 18 years of age. In both cases, however, a firearms license is not required. We would like to point out that use in private areas, e.g. for target practice, is permitted, but carrying the weapon in public is prohibited according to §42 WaffG.
The regulations regarding the ban on carrying also apply to all knives with a lockable blade or a blade length of more than 12 cm. All regulations relating to shooting in a sporting context are governed by Section 15 and its subsections of the Weapons Act.
Changes to the Weapons Act take place on an ongoing basis and should be followed regularly by all interested and affected parties. We therefore recommend our GunPoint customers to be careful and attentive. At the beginning of 2017, there was and still is a debate about taking weapons into the EU. Section 36 WaffG was also once again a topic in parliament.
This paragraph deals with the storage obligations of gun owners. Weapons and ammunition should always be secured and stored separately. Children and young people in particular must not have the opportunity to open a cabinet, safe or display case with weapons inside. The keys to these must also be stored carefully.
Anyone wishing to carry a firearm in Germany must obtain a firearms license. In 2016, there was a rapid increase in applications for the so-called small firearms license (Section 10 WaffG), which is required for carrying alarm weapons, for example.
Let's introduce ourselves a little differently than the SEO agencies do. GunPoint had its first small footprint in 2015 as a "project" from a large retail company. It all started with a desk and a PC. The brief was to set everything up from scratch and draw on the company's resources and expertise. It started with merchandise management, an online store, shipping service providers, legal bases and so on. Only then did things like finding suppliers, specifying products, adding articles, etc. slowly start to happen. Everything had to be done, article labels, invoice forms, email addresses, templates, automation, inventory management and workflows. It's exciting to experience this from the ground up and to see everything grow slowly. We started with 20 different items and now have well over 60,000 items, which we are nowhere near having entered all of in the merchandise management system.our first sale was in 2016.... The item didn't cost €30, but it worked; a small milestone for us. 2020 was the year: the project became our own company with all the structures that a company should have (and NO; nothing to do with everyday life. The learning started all over again). From now on it was wild times: DHL no longer wanted to transport "weapons", new gun law amendment and only just scraped past the illegality of 14-gauge weapons. Freighters are standing crosswise, Corona, container prices up to 5 times the normal, flights were canceled and thus smaller quantities could no longer be procured, etc.
The after-effects are still there today and are only slowly subsiding. In any case, we made the crazy decision during this time to establish our own brand and have products manufactured for us. Our OpTacs brand now has well over 50 different items: Cases, BBs, speedloaders, bullet boxes, optics etc... and always we try as best we can to find high quality producers.
It was then time for the next step; we had to start our own project and take on employees. Project planning and prototype development were added to pure trading. We now have a trading license for fully automatic machines and a manufacturing license. One last important thing: we like our work and we enjoy getting up in the morning and coming into the company. Every employee gets involved and is always coming up with ideas and suggestions for changes and improvements. It remains exciting and we hope that this different introduction to us has given you a tiny impression of us. We look forward to what is yet to come.
