The US offshoot of the Belgian company FN Herstal, FNH USA, has launched the FNX-45 Tactical self-loading pistol, a further development of the already proven FNP model. The weapon represents the most current state of authority short-barreled weapons.

The detailed airsoft replica in the gas-blowback variant impresses with high-quality materials and the best workmanship (CNC machining).
The licensed FN model has an individual serial number, a metal slide and a polymer body. Slide catch and safety are operable for both right- and left-handed shooters and the additional grip back makes the grip adaptable to the respective shooter.
In addition to the classic rear sight & front sight, the pistol has a receiver for RDP Mini Red Dot, an integrated mounting rail and a silencer-compatible 16mm thread. The polished High Performance magazine holds 25 rounds and the safety also features a decocking function.
The airsoft model comes very close to the real thing, especially due to the high-quality workmanship and the blow-back system.

Softair weapons with an energy over 0.5 joules are subject to the Weapons Act and must have an 'F' marking in the pentagon. The acquisition, possession and transport of the weapons is allowed to adults without a firearms license. However, they are subject to the ban on carrying (§42 a WaffG).
