G&G Armament is known for bringing high-quality softairs to the market. The ARP 9 is another low-cost, but top-quality AEG for the softair community. Based on the ARP 9 with over 0.5 joules, this version was throttled down to under 0.5 joules with a "downgrade". Clear advantages here are the materials used, which are designed for the 18+ version and the thus legal full-auto mode, which offers an enormous fun factor. Even though there is no real-life model for this 9 mm submachine gun, the weapon is a top choice for ambitious CQB or indoor gamers. Like the Firehawk from G & G, this model has the best prerequisites to become a "CQB Beast".

The body of the weapon is made of high-quality fiber-reinforced plastic and can easily compete with die-cast zinc models in terms of durability. The weapon has a metal rail with M-Lok system, to which many attachments such as target optics or tactical grips can be mounted. The continuous upper rail and the flip-up sights are also made of metal. Due to the adjustable hop-up (which can be conveniently adjusted through the opening of the dust cover) and the muzzle velocity of the bullet of about 225 fps (equivalent to about 0.46 joules with 0.2 g BBs), a very constant trajectory of the bullets is achieved. G&G also sets the bar high on the inside; 8mm bushings and a high-torque motor combine with Mosfet and ETU to provide a cadence of 15-17 rounds/second. The Double-Sector Gear and electronic control of the motor provide excellent gun response when firing.
