The Scout Scope
On the Vortex Crossfire II Scout Scope, the eye relief is 24 inches. With this large eye relief, it is possible to mount the scope on the front of a rifle. This way, you can use both eyes to observe the target and still use a scope with magnification. This works by focusing with both eyes, with one eye assisted by the magnification of the scout scope.
